Human Resources Department

General.Emad Al-Dimirdash, in the capacity of the general manager

Vision :
The department seeks to promote the services supplied by the HR Department by possessing qualified staff and depend on the academic cadres graduated from MUST and building up its own academic structure of college members and dispense with seconded or delegated staff as applied now. In addition, we aim to automate work as regards the transfer of data within the university, create a spirit of belongingness as well as raising the efficiency of our human resources.

Mission :
First : Our Advisory Role :
This role involves offering advice and counsel, providing data as well as any information requested by college deans or general managers, as regards the human resources related affairs.


Second : The Executive Role :
This role involves all activities done by the HR Department within workforce planning, attracting, offering appointments as well as motivating highly-trained, qualified staff, in addition to providing the necessary services to the staff socially, culturally and in terms of entertainment as well.
Third : The Functional Role :
This role aims to make us sure that HR policies are applied properly.

Objectives :
1. Seeking quick solutions for MUST staff.
2. Allowing constant development as regards performance in all departments.
3. Specifying the negativities in the department continuously.
4. Achieving elasticity in work.

Profile
Administrations and Departments Affiliated
1.College Member Administration.
This administration includes three departments as follows :
i.Appointments Department
This department is concerned with following up appointment procedures, checking them, receiving the credentials, completion of documents required, etc., and then sending them to personnel records to be archived.


ii.Pay and Salary Department
This department is concerned with preparing lists of salaries in detail to be sent later to the Internal Control Dept for review, then to be sent to the Finance and Accounts Department to be paid to the staff members. iii.Secondments and Leave Department
This department deals with any action related to secondments and assignments granted to college members, following up the durations related thereto. It is also concerned with following up the approvals granted by external bodies for such secondments and assignments in addition to preparing the monthly pay forms of assignments.


iv.College Members Care Department
This department is concerned with preparing letters related to the teaching staff as well as solving any problem they might encounter and tries to solve them ASAP.


2.Personnel Administration.
This administration includes three departments as follows :
i.Appointments Department
This department is concerned with following up appointment procedures for MUST personnel (employees), checking them, receiving the credentials, completion of documents required, etc., and then sending them to personnel records to be archived.
ii.Pay and Salary Department

This department is concerned with preparing letters related to the employees as well as solving any problem they might encounter and tries to solve them ASAP.


3.MUST Hospital Personnel Administration.
This administration includes three departments as follows :

This department is concerned with following up appointment procedures for MUST Hospital personnel, checking them, receiving the credentials, completion of documents required, etc., and then sending them to personnel records to be archived.


ii.Pay and Salary Department
This department is concerned with preparing lists of MUST Hospital personnel salaries in detail to be sent later to the Internal Control Dept for review, then to be sent to the Finance and Accounts Department to be paid to the employees.


iii.MUST Hospital Personnel Care Department
This department is concerned with preparing letters related to the MUST Hospital staff as well as solving any problem they might encounter and tries to solve them ASAP.


4.Human Resources Development Administration.
This administration includes three departments as follows :
i.Training Department
This department is concerned with studying the university needs, seeking to organizing training programmes in coordination with the internal and external authorities and, in addition, evaluating the outcome of the programmes organized.


ii.Promotion and Transfer Department
This department is concerned with the following :
1.Reviewing promotions of MUST college members according to the documents they have submitted to be accredited by the Standing Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities in preparation to be put forward to MUST Council for approval.
2.Reviewing eligible promotion of staff members according to the dates set by Personnel Affairs Committee in preparation to be put forward for approval.
3.Studying the departments needs for staff transfer according to the plans designed, taking into consideration the specific criteria of the job.
Departments Affiliated Directly to the General Manager
1.Department for External Dealings
This department is concerned with dealings with the governmental bodies, such as the Public Authority for Insurance, trade unions, etc.
2.Foreign Staff Department
This department is concerned with issuing work permits, stay permits, as well as following up to which extend the university needs this foreign labour prior to contract renewals.
3.Staff Records Department
This department is concerned with the integrity of staff files, and to which extent they are in conformity with the set laws and regulations related thereto, in addition to archiving them properly.
