Prof Hala Salem Elmenofy, PhD

Dean of the College of Dentistry

Biography

Dr. Hala graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, Cairo University, in 1992 and obtained a Master’s degree in Oral Medicine and Surgery, Periodontics and Diagnostics – Cairo University (July 2000). Then a Ph.D. in Oral Medicine, Periodontal Diseases and Oral Disease Diagnostics, Cairo University (April 2005). She became a lecturer in the Department of Oral Medicine, Periodontal Diseases and Oral Diagnostics, Faculty of Oral and Dental Surgery, Misr University for Science and Technology until 2005, then an associate professor in 2010, then a professor in 2015.
She got her fellowship in laser dentistry from Genoa. Italy, (September 2015).
She rose in positions from Director of Educational Clinics at the College of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery in 2010, then Chairman of the Board of Oral Medicine, Periodontal Surgery and Diagnostics in 2011, then Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs in 2013, then Dean of the College in 2021
