








The Professional Development and Continuing Education Committee of the Alumni and Employment Follow-up Unit at the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing organized a valuable lecture titled: “Therapeutic Nutrition in Cancer Prevention and Treatment”
The lecture was presented by Dr. Heba Anis El-Sheshiny:
• BCNSP, MSc, MBA
• Deputy Director of the Therapeutic Nutrition Unit at the National Cancer Institute.
• Assistant Faculty Member at the College of Clinical Pharmacy, Misr International University (MIU).
The lecture was held on Saturday, November 9, at 9:00 AM in Hall 116 of the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing building, Misr University for Science and Technology, Al-Motamayez District, 6th of October City. The lecture aimed to inform attendees about the importance of therapeutic nutrition and its pivotal role in reducing the incidence and spread of cancer, which is a complex disease influenced by many genetic and environmental factors. It also addressed the importance of therapeutic nutrition in the care of cancer patients after diagnosis. Additionally, the lecture emphasized that therapeutic nutrition is a fundamental pillar in achieving sustainable development by improving community health and enhancing health awareness.
