College of Medicine Holds First Medical Convoy of Academic Year 2025/2026

The College of Medicine at Misr University for Science and Technology organized the first medical convoy for the 2025/2026 academic year. The event was held in cooperation with the National Cancer Institute and the College of Oral and Dental Surgery at Cairo University, with the participation of Souad Kafafi University Hospital. The convoy’s activities took place within the framework of the “100 Million Health” campaign, along with awareness efforts for early cancer detection, prevention, and treatment. The convoy was carried out in the Old Cairo area.
The convoy provided free medical examinations and treatment in several specialties, including:

Pediatrics
Internal Medicine
Obstetrics
Gynecology
Approximately 300 patients were examined, and cases requiring further tests, therapeutic interventions, or surgical procedures were referred to Souad Kafafi University Hospital to complete the necessary medical services.
This convoy comes within the framework of the College’s Community Service and Environmental Development Sector plan, which aims to provide integrated medical services in various regions and governorates. It also seeks to encourage the participation of medical interns and students in fieldwork,
