Honoring Leading Female Dentists at IDEX 2025: Dean Dr. Hala Al-Monofi Recognized for Her Contributions to Dental Education and Women’s Empowerment”

As part of enhancing the role of women in academic and professional fields, IDEX 2025 witnessed the organization of the IDEX Queen Forum, which this year was dedicated to honoring a group of distinguished female dentists and highlighting their achievements in developing the field of dentistry.

Professor. Hala El-Menoufi, Dean of the College of Oral and Dental Surgery, has received an honor during the forum in recognition of her distinguished academic and professional career, and her prominent role in developing medical education and empowering women in the healthcare field. The honor also included a number of distinguished female doctors who have achieved remarkable academic and professional achievements.

The forum included panel discussions and inspiring discussions, in which Professor Dr. Hala El-Menoufi and her honored colleagues participated, discussing the latest developments in dentistry and the importance of scientific research. and the role of women in leading change in the healthcare sector. Clinical experiences were also exchanged to enhance the skills of female students and new graduates.  

This participation, in cooperation with the University’s Equal Opportunities and Gender Equality Unit, is part of efforts to promote equality and empower women’s competencies in scientific fields. The forum organizers have emphasized that such initiatives contribute to building a new generation of female medical leaders capable of making a positive impact on society.
