Within the framework of its pioneering mission to support academic excellence and strengthen international scientific cooperation,
the College of Oral and Dental Surgery at Misr University for Science and Technology had the honor of organizing and hosting the First Scientific Conference for the Midde East and Africa (MEASM), which was held on Thursday, September 26, 2025, at the Opera House of Misr University for Science and Technology.
The organization of this distinguished scientific event came in collaboration with “MegaGen Implant” and “Dental Express”, with the college playing a pivotal role as an academic and scientific partner in both preparation and implementation—confirming its leading role in advancing the scientific field of oral and dental medicine, particularly in the specialization of dental implantology.
The conference was distinguished by the presence of Professor Dr. Hala El-Menoufy, Acting President of the University and Dean of the College of Oral and Dental Surgery, who, through her patronage of the event, affirmed the university’s and the College’s commitment to supporting outstanding scientific initiatives and openness to international experiences.
The event also witnessed the distinguished participation of Dr. Kwang Bum Park, President of “MegaGen” Company, and Dr. Emad Hussein, CEO of “Dental Express” and one of the distinguished graduates of the College of Oral and Dental Surgery at Misr University for Science and Technology.
A select group of deans of dental colleges from Egyptian universities also attended, along with a number of professors, experts, and prominent dental practitioners, which imparted a high-level scientific character to the conference.
The scientific program of the conference included a set of specialized lectures delivered by international experts from South Korea, Turkey, and Lebanon, in addition to distinguished Egyptian experts. The lectures addressed the most recent research findings and technologies in the field of dental implants. The conference also included an accompanying interactive exhibition, which provided participants with the opportunity to view firsthand the latest innovations and modern tools in the field of dental implantology, and to engage practically with new techniques.
