Participation of the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing – Misr University for Science and Technology in the 12th International Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Pharmacy – Cairo University

As part of the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing at Misr University for Science and Technology’s efforts to support and advance scientific research, the College participated on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in the 12th International Scientific Conference of the College of Pharmacy, Cairo University. The conference was held under the subject:

“Innovations in Pharmacy Profession & Advancing Research – Heritage Meets Horizon”

The event, which brought together leading scientific thinkers from various fields, witnessed strong participation from the College’s leadership and College members. The College was honoured to attend and actively contribute to the valuable discussions.

The distinguished attendees from the College:

  • Prof. Dr. Rehab Ahmed Abdel Moneim – Dean of the College 
  • Prof. Dr. Naglaa Abdel Khaleq Geba – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development
  • Assistant Professor Dr. Al-Husseini El-Gendy – Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacognosy and Advisor to the Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs
  • Assistant Professor Dr. Nabil Mohamed Aboul Fotouh – Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology
  • Assistant Professor Dr. Hoda Allah Mohamed Sayed Marzouk – Assistant Professor, Department of Analytical Chemistry
  • Minya Joseph – Assistant Dean of the College
  • Basant Saeed Ali – Teaching Assistant, Department of Industrial Pharmacy
  • Mr. Ahmed Bakr Salah El-Din – Director of the Student Experimental Laboratory
  • Ms. Hala Fawzy Mohamed – Deputy Director of the Student Experimental Laboratory

The college also made a distinguished scientific contribution through a lecture by Prof. Dr. El-Husseini El-Gendy in Session 2: “Traditional Medicine Across Egypt’s History.”

“During which the development of traditional medicine in Egypt and its importance in contemporary scientific research were reviewed.”

During the conference, SEF MUST (Student Experimental Laboratory) participated as an official sponsor and academic partner. The distinguished services of the Student Experimental Laboratory were presented to a select group of professors and scientists, contributing to strengthening cooperation between scientific research and industry and emphasising the important role of SEF MUST in developing and promoting scientific research in the field of pharmacy.
