ABOUT US
Introduction
In light of the growing global and national focus on sustainable development issues, and in alignment with Egypt’s Vision 2030, the establishment of the Center for Sustainability, Climate, and Energy at Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) represents a strategic initiative aimed at supporting research, innovation, and practical applications in the fields of environment, energy, and green technologies. The Center seeks to enhance the university’s role in community service and to contribute effectively to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

To position Misr University for Science and Technology as a leading institution in sustainability, environmental studies, and innovation, and to become a distinguished regional hub for research, training, and capacity building in sustainable development

The Center aims to promote sustainability concepts and practices within the university and the wider community through innovation, capacity building, and collaboration with governmental and industrial sectors, achieving a positive and lasting impact on the environment, the economy, and society

The Center’s strategy focuses on integrating sustainability concepts into education, scientific research, and community service through the implementation of targeted initiatives and the preparation of periodic reports on the university’s performance in energy, water, and waste management. The strategy further emphasizes enhancing collaboration among university faculties, especially the College of Engineering to implement practical applications aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
