Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center
Introduction
The University’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship focuses on providing specialized training programs in innovation, entrepreneurship, creative design, and prototype development. It also manages a university business incubator that offers technical, administrative, and financial support for start-up projects. The center aims to connect researchers and students with entrepreneurs and investors through an interactive network and orientation workshops, organize annual competitions and awards to foster a spirit of creativity and healthy competition, and host exhibitions and forums for innovative projects both inside and outside the university to showcase ideas and exchange experiences. Additionally, the center collaborates with national and international institutions involved in innovation and scientific research and provides legal and financial support to start-ups to ensure their sustainability and formal registration.

To foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the university through education, training, and technical support, and to provide an integrated ecosystem that nurtures ideas and transforms them into viable projects contributing to economic and social development, while building the capacity of youth to become a driving force of the knowledge-based economy in Egypt and the Arab world.

- Training and Innovation Unit
This unit is responsible for designing and implementing training programs, workshops, and competitions in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship. It equips students and researchers with creative thinking, solution design, and prototype development skills, contributing to capacity building within the university community and strengthening the knowledge-based economy.
- Incubation and Applied Research Unit
This unit focuses on incubating and supporting innovative projects and commercially viable research ideas. It provides administrative, technical, and engineering guidance to student initiatives, promotes industry- and technology-driven applied research, and facilitates the transfer of knowledge and technologies to the local market.
- Partnerships and Support Unit
This unit builds collaborative relationships with public and private sector organizations, as well as local and international bodies supporting innovation and entrepreneurship. It also raises community awareness of the university’s role in development and innovation and organizes events, exhibitions, and interactive forums.
