First Module of the Second Batch of the Digital Dentistry Diploma

As part of the fruitful and distinguished cooperation between the College of Oral and Dental Surgery at Misr University for Science and Technology and the University of Genoa, the first module of the Professional Digital Dentistry Diploma was held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, for five days, with the presence and honor of Prof. Dr. Hala El-Menoufy, Dean of the College of Oral and Dental Surgery

The module was supervised by:

• Prof. Dr. Francesco Mangano – Professor of Digital Dentistry at the University of Genoa.

• Prof. Dr. Ahmed Aboul-Fadl and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Nasr – Misr University for Science and Technology

The first module witnessed distinguished attendance from trainees from various countries, including Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Sudan, Libya, Syria, and Palestine

The program included several lectures and workshops covering the latest techniques in digital dentistry, such as:

• Intraoral Scanning & Digital Designing.

• 3D Printing.

• Indirect & Direct Composite Restoration.

• Milling Machine Techniques.

The module provided trainees with the opportunity to learn the necessary skills in these areas.

The module was sponsored by IVOCLAR – Alex Dent, which provided the necessary support for the success of the module, adding additional value to the training program
