“Go Green” and “Arbour Footprint” Teams Honoured!

As part of its commitment to integrating sustainability and innovation into the educational process, the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing at Misr University for Science and Technology actively participated in the Environmental Day event. The event was organised by the university’s Community Service and Environmental Development Sector on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM, in the Knowledge Hall, with representatives from the Ministry of Environment in attendance.

During the event, the Go Green and Arbour Footprint teams from the college were honoured for their distinguished and impactful participation in the “From Concept to Campus” Environmental Sustainability Projects Competition.

Go Green Team

A) Third Year – Clinical

They presented a project focused on recycling paper waste and converting it into environmentally friendly products, to promote a circular economy and support the following Sustainable Development Goals:

Goal 12: Responsible Production and Consumption

Goal 13: Climate Action

Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure

Arbour Footprint Team

A) Third Year – Clinical

1- Fatima Al-Zahraa Ahmed

2- Sama Imad Al-Din Ibrahim

They presented a project on recycling tree and plant residues to reduce organic waste and enhance their utilisation, supporting:

Goal 15: Life on Land

Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities

Goal 12: Responsible Production and Consumption

These projects were supervised by Dr. Noha Mohsen Jamil, Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the College.
