Seminar on Entrepreneurship in Biotechnology at Misr University for Science and Technology

As part of its commitment to promoting entrepreneurship and innovation, the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Committee at the College of Biotechnology, Misr University for Science and Technology, organized a seminar on Monday, October 27, 2025, entitled

“Biotech Ventures: Turning Passion into Profit”

delivered by Prof. Ahmed Zain El-Abdeen, Professor at the College of Biotechnology, Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST).

The seminar aimed to develop entrepreneurial thinking among students and graduates and to encourage them to transform their scientific ideas into viable commercial projects. It also discussed how scientific research can be invested in developing value-added biotechnological products and services with economic potential and highlighted essential management and marketing skills in the field of biotechnology.

The event emphasized the importance of linking scientific research with entrepreneurship, as both are key components in building a knowledge-based economy and enhancing graduates’ competitiveness in the job market
