Meeting of Medical Convoys’ Drug Resourcing Committee

On Sunday, May 4, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at College of Medicine, held meeting for the Medical Convoys’ Drug Resourcing Committee.

The meeting was chaired by Professor Dr. Ahmed Fouad, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Head of the Medical Convoys Committee at the University.

The meeting was attended by the esteemed committee members:

• Prof. Dr. Rehab Abdel Moneim, Dean of the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing • Prof. Dr. Hamdy Nabawy, Head of the Department of Neurosurgery and Coordinator of the Community Service and Environmental Development Standard

• Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Tantawy, Assistant Professor in the Department of Cardiology and Vascular Diseases • Prof. Dr. Amira El-Ansary, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit

• Dr. Mohamed Saleh, Member of the Quality Assurance Unit

• Dr. Medhat Shanab, College Coordinator for Academic Operations and Committee Rapporteur

• Ms. Hadeer Tahawy, Sector Secretary and Committee Secretary

The meeting discussed ways to expand the sources and stock of medications for the medical convoys, as well as cooperation with various entities both inside and outside the university.
