1. To provide students with a solid foundation in craniofacial growth, occlusion, and orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning, enabling them to understand the scientific principles underlying orthodontic care.
2. To train students in the clinical skills required for effective orthodontic treatment, including the use of fixed and removable appliances, proper case assessment, and long-term treatment management.
3. To promote innovative research in the field of orthodontics, focusing on biomechanics, treatment outcomes, interdisciplinary approaches, and the development of new technologies and materials.
4. To contribute to public oral health by participating in outreach programs that offer early orthodontic screening, education on malocclusion prevention, and accessible treatment services for underserved populations.
