MUST Faculty Participates in Ain Shams University Scientific Day

On 5 December 2024, representatives of the Oral Medicine, Periodontology and Diagnosis Department at Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) participated in the Ain Shams University Scientific Day, hosted by the Faculty of Dentistry at Ain Shams University.

The event brought together approximately 50 faculty members, dental clinicians, and dental students to exchange academic and clinical knowledge in oral medicine, periodontal disease diagnosis, and preventive dentistry.

The programme featured discussions on periodontal disease diagnostics, clinical oral medicine workshops, preventive dentistry practices, and dental research presentations. These activities supported professional knowledge exchange and encouraged the sharing of clinical experience and emerging research.

MUST’s participation reflects the importance of ongoing collaboration between academic institutions in advancing dental education and clinical practice. The event also reinforced the role of a Health outreach programme in promoting awareness of oral health and hygiene, while creating opportunities for academic engagement and student volunteering where applicable.
