The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Drug Manufacturing Conducts “Gabr Al-Khawater” Community Outreach Initiative

On February 25, 2025, Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) organized the “Gabr Al-Khawater” humanitarian and community outreach initiative, coordinated by The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Drug Manufacturing .

The project provided direct support and free access to essential aid for 300 sanitation workers, impoverished individuals, homeless persons, and street vendors, fostering meaningful social inclusion for disadvantaged people operating in vulnerable urban conditions.

Specialist healthcare professionals and organizers delivered vital nutrition support through the distribution of hot meal packages, bottled water hydration, and basic wellness checkups. Driven by an inspiring student volunteering effort, MUST pharmacy students actively distributed financial aid, flowers, and special Ramadan gift packages to brighten the lives of community members.

Through this compassionate health outreach programme, MUST continues to extend its social responsibility beyond clinical settings, delivering dignity, holistic well-being, and vital humanitarian care to marginalized individuals.
