The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Drug Manufacturing Conducts Fifth Medical Caravan for Diabetes Care

On January 15, 2025, Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) organized its Fifth Medical Caravan focusing on diabetes care and metabolic health, coordinated by The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Drug Manufacturing .

The initiative provided free access to specialized health screenings and educational sessions for 40 to 50 area residents and caravan beneficiaries, offering essential clinical support to disadvantaged and refugees living in the surrounding community.

Specialist healthcare professionals provided comprehensive vital signs assessments, capillary blood glucose monitoring, and clinical diabetes management consultations aimed at preventative healthcare and early complication prevention. These clinical efforts were further enhanced by tailored lifestyle counseling for diabetic patients and the safe distribution of free essential medications.

Through this dedicated health outreach programme, MUST continues to expand specialized care for chronic health conditions, improve disease management, and promote long-term well-being among underserved populations.
