The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing at Misr University for Science and Technology, established in 1996, is one of the university’s oldest faculties and received accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education in 2019.
The faculty aims to produce qualified pharmacists equipped for advancements in healthcare and pharmaceutical manufacturing through modern curricula, advanced practical training, and innovative research. It features state-of-the-art laboratories and a university hospital for clinical training, guided by expert faculty.
The faculty offers two bachelor’s programs: “Pharm D” and “Pharm D – Clinical Pharmacy,” requiring 181 credit hours, summer training, and a year of internship for graduation, along with a Master’s program in Pharmaceutics to enhance its graduate offerings.

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing is committed to conducting innovative scientific research and specialized graduate studies, as well as offering seminars and scientific workshops in accordance with the ethics of scientific research.

Enhancing the academic and research level of the faculty and actively participating in the university’s international ranking, as well as addressing health and pharmaceutical issues through innovative research stemming from the university’s and the country’s research plan.

Graduate studies are the most important source of scientific research, enabling us to produce generations of scientists and specialists who can build the nation and achieve targeted aspirations through their ideas and innovations. The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing at Misr University for Science and Technology plays a prominent role in pharmaceutical graduate studies and applied scientific research by offering distinguished graduate programs and raising scientific awareness through innovative courses, seminars, and workshops, as well as supporting applied scientific research that aligns with the university’s and the country’s vision for scientific research.

  1. Original Bachelor’s degree certificate certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs if obtained outside Egypt.
  2. Original certificate of completion for medical colleges certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs if obtained outside Egypt.
  3. Original birth certificate certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs if obtained outside Egypt.
  4. Original transcript certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs if obtained outside Egypt.
  5. Original equivalency certificate certified if the student obtained their Bachelor’s degree from a private university or from outside Egypt.
  6. Six personal photos.
  7. English language proficiency test according to the considerations of each program.

Master of Pharmaceutics

Total credit hours = 42 hours

Study Duration = 2 years

 

  1. Approval from the relevant department.
  2. Submit all required documents to the Graduate Studies Administration.
  3. Pay the tuition fees by the deadline set by the Graduate Studies Administration.
  4. Foreign students must provide a letter from their embassy indicating approval for admission to graduate studies and clarifying their financial status.
  5. Foreign students must submit a health certificate from the Ministry of Health.

    Admission is granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • The first semester starts in September and lasts for 15 weeks.
  • The second semester starts in February and lasts for 15 weeks.
  • The summer session starts in July and lasts for eight weeks.

The university follows a credit hour system. Holders of a bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Egyptian universities or their equivalent are eligible to apply for a Master’s degree in one of the specified specializations.

  • One credit hour in any course is equivalent to 15 study hours.
  • The internal regulations of each college determine the required number of credit hours.
  • One exam hour is allocated for each credit hour.
  • Exam results are divided into: oral, written, and practical.
