Environmental Biotechnology is used to clean up contaminated environments. In Environmental Biotechnology, students will be capable to manage and remove wastes by implementing bioremediation strategies and developing innovative solutions for wastewater treatment, renewable energy production, and agricultural applications, including the development and use of biofertilizers and biopesticides, environmental conservation and restoration, as well as climate change mitigation efforts. Overall, students will address environmental challenges and promote sustainable development through its diverse applications.
