College of Medicine Participates in Women’s Day Event by College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing

As part of the ongoing collaboration between the university’s faculties, the College of Medicine, represented by a group of its faculty members and students, participated in a special event organized by the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing, dedicated to women’s issues and their celebration.

The educational symposium, held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the MUST Conference Hall, brought together a wide audience and was titled:

“Egyptian Women: Between Physical and Mental Health and Their Rights in Religion and Law.” This symposium was part of the “Future of Egyptian Women: Daughter, Mother, Grandmother” initiative, now in its fourth consecutive year. A panel of specialists addressed women’s issues from a range of perspectives, including healthcare, mental well-being, religion, and legal rights.

The day commenced with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Dr. Mohamed Medhat, an outstanding honors student from the College of Medicine, who was later recognized with the Dean’s Award for his excellence.

The event also featured heartfelt moments of appreciation, culminating in a closing ceremony that honored influential women who have made remarkable achievements in various fields, as well as exemplary mothers who serve as inspiring models of dedication and selflessness.

This event stood as a testament to the collaborative spirit between the College of Medicine and the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing, embodying the university’s vision of promoting interdisciplinary cooperation and unity across its various colleges and centers
