The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Drug Manufacturing Hosts Food Security and Nutritional Health Event at Local Market

On December 1, 2024, Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) organized a community-focused initiative on food security and nutritional support during a local One-Day Market, coordinated by The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Drug Manufacturing .

The initiative provided free access to specialized wellness guidance and consumer educational resources for 40 to 50 local citizens and market visitors, helping improve community access to healthy and affordable dietary choices.

Specialist healthcare professionals delivered expert nutrition counseling, actionable guidance on balanced diets, and practical food safety instructions focused on preventative healthcare and chronic disease prevention. Clinical activities were complemented by efforts facilitating community access to safe, high-quality, and budget-friendly food products.

Through this targeted health outreach programme, MUST continues to leverage public spaces to address dietary health, advocate for food security, and empower citizens with practical nutritional knowledge.
