The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Drug Manufacturing Conducts Clinical Oncology Training at Baheya Hospital

On May 13, 2025, Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) organized an intensive clinical oncology pharmacy training program at Baheya Hospital, coordinated by The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Drug Manufacturing.

The specialized program targeted 10 top-performing students from the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing, delivering 25 accredited hours of rigorous theoretical and practical clinical hospital training to strengthen Egypt’s future healthcare workforce.

Specialist healthcare professionals and oncology clinical pharmacists led interactive hospital rotations, providing hands-on instruction in cancer patient chemotherapy management, safe preparation protocols, and personalized pharmaceutical care plans. Grounded in active student volunteering, participating pharmacy students directly assisted clinical teams in monitoring patient progress and supporting hospital workflow.

Through this specialized health outreach programme and its ongoing collaboration with leading medical institutions, MUST continues to bridge academic learning with real-world clinical excellence while expanding community cancer care capabilities.
