The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Drug Manufacturing Launches “Use Your Home Pharmacy for Good” Drug Redistribution Campaign

On May 17, 2025, Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) organized the “Use Your Home Pharmacy for Good” drug donation and redistribution campaign, coordinated by The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Drug Manufacturing.

The initiative facilitated free access to essential pharmaceutical therapies for 60 to 70 medical caravan beneficiaries and in-need patients, delivering crucial clinical support to disadvantaged and refugees unable to afford routine medications.

Specialist healthcare professionals and clinical pharmacists oversaw the systematic collection, rigorous quality sorting, and safe redistribution of unexpired surplus medications. Powered by dedicated student volunteering, MUST pharmacy students actively participated in medication inventory management, patient intake, and conducting personalized medication safety consultations.

Through this sustainable health outreach programme, MUST continues to minimize pharmaceutical waste, address medication insecurity, and provide vital healthcare resources to vulnerable community members.
