Mother’s Day Celebration

The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Misr University for Science and Technology, in cooperation with the Equal Opportunities Unit and the Youth Care Administration, organized a celebration on the occasion of Mother’s Day on Sunday, April 27, 2025. The event was attended by the President of the University, Professor Nehad Al-Mahboub, and the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Professor Emad Khalil, along with a number of deans, vice deans, College members, and students.

The celebration included a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by speeches from university leadership. Dr. Hala Hosny from the National Council for Women also delivered a speech during the event. The program continued with an artistic performance presented by the university choir under the direction of Dr. Mohamed Yahya.

A number of exemplary mothers from within the university and among the students’ families were honored, and an honor board displaying the pictures of all the exemplary mothers was set up. The celebration concluded with the opening of a special bazaar held in commemoration of the occasion.
