MUST Collaborates with the Ministry of Youth and Sports on the “Together for Better Posture” National Initiative

On 20 April 2025, Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST), through its Faculty of Physical Therapy, organized the national initiative “Together for Better Posture” in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The initiative reached 280 school students across six schools in Faiyum Governorate, aiming to assess physical fitness, raise awareness of postural deformities, and promote healthy movement habits.

As part of this Health outreach programme, specialized healthcare professionals conducted comprehensive postural deformity screening and musculoskeletal fitness testing. Students also received classroom ergonomic training and corrective exercise guidance to help them maintain proper posture during classroom activities and in their daily lives.

The initiative highlighted the importance of Exercise and Sports in promoting physical fitness, healthy development, and musculoskeletal well-being. Through practical demonstrations and educational guidance, students learned about healthy movement habits and measures that can help prevent posture-related problems.

By bringing screening and health education activities directly to schools, MUST supports preventative healthcare and encourages early awareness of potential postural concerns. The initiative also highlights opportunities for student volunteering in community health education and outreach activities.
