The College of Medicine Organizes the “Hope 2025” Caravan

On Wednesday, January 15, 2025, the College of Medicine organized the fifth medical caravan for the 2024/2025 academic year, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Nihad Al-Mahboub, President of the University, Dean of the College of Medicine, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Souad Kafafi University Hospital. The caravan, held in the Al-Amal Housing area in the city of 6th of October, provided free medical consultations and treatments in various specialties. The caravan included six diagnostic and consultation clinics:

1. Cardiology Clinic
2. Pediatrics Clinic
3. Internal Medicine Clinic
4. Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic
5. Diagnostic Ultrasound Clinic
6. Dental Clinic

Throughout the day, necessary consultations and treatments were provided to visitors, with referrals for additional examinations or diagnostic or therapeutic interventions to Souad Kafafi University Hospital as needed. This initiative is part of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector’s plan for medical and service caravans. With the support and patronage of the University President, the caravan aimed to encourage the collaboration of various university sectors to enhance the services of medical caravans. The caravan was organized under the supervision of the College of Medicine in cooperation with Souad Kafafi University Hospital, the College of Oral and Dental Surgery, and the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing. This initiative aligns with the university’s mission to expand the reach of medical caravans and provide fieldwork opportunities for faculty members, assistant staff, resident doctors, and university students
