The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Drug Manufacturing Conducts Joint Medical Caravan for Underserved Beneficiaries

On November 10, 2024, Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) organized a joint medical caravan in collaboration with the College of Medicine, coordinated by The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Drug Manufacturing .

The initiative ensured free access to essential healthcare services and therapeutic support for 50 to 60 local community beneficiaries, directly assisting disadvantaged people in need of comprehensive clinical care.

Specialist healthcare professionals delivered outpatient consultations, chronic disease screenings, and specialized medication counseling. Active student volunteering supported the operation, with MUST pharmacy students helping organize patient intake, providing guidance on safe drug usage, and facilitating the distribution of surplus medications safely collected from home pharmacies under proper supervision.

Through this collaborative health outreach programme, MUST continues to strengthen interprofessional healthcare delivery, promote medication safety, and supply vital medical aid to vulnerable communities.
