The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Drug Manufacturing Hosts Back to School Carnival for Families in Need

On September 20, 2024, Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) organized a community-focused Back to School Carnival, coordinated by The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Drug Manufacturing .

The initiative offered free access to essential wellness services and educational resources for 40 to 50 local children and families in need, fostering social inclusion and supporting disadvantaged people during the back-to-school season.

Specialist healthcare professionals provided pediatric wellness checks alongside interactive health and hygiene awareness sessions. Supported by enthusiastic student volunteering, MUST pharmacy students helped manage pediatric activities, deliver wellness screenings, and distribute school supplies and clothing collected through an innovative clothing reuse campaign.

Through this comprehensive health outreach programme, MUST continues to combine community support, sustainability, and preventive healthcare to empower local youth and their families.
