The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Drug Manufacturing Hosts Medical Clinic Tent at Local One-Day Market

On November 15, 2024, Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) set up a dedicated mobile medical clinic tent during a civic One-Day Market, coordinated by The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Drug Manufacturing .

The initiative provided free access to essential health screenings and wellness resources for 30 to 40 market visitors and local citizens, helping alleviate civic burdens for everyday community members.

Specialist healthcare professionals conducted vital signs checks, blood pressure monitoring, and blood glucose testing focused on preventative healthcare and early chronic disease detection. Dedicated student volunteering enhanced the tent’s operations, with MUST pharmacy students engaging visitors through educational conversations, distributing nutritional wellness handouts, and promoting healthy lifestyle habits.

Through this accessible health outreach programme, MUST continues to meet community members directly in public civic spaces to deliver actionable health education and vital preventative care.
