Misr University for Science and Technology, under the patronage of Mr. Khalid Altoukhy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, came together to support Yasmin Abdel Aziz, a highly accomplished student in the German Department at the Faculty of Language and Translation, after the recent loss of her father. The event was attended by university officials, including Prof. Ashraf Haider, President of the University, and Prof. Sherif Rifat, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Acting Vice President for Student Affairs.
The university community was invited to attend a birthday party in Yasmin’s honor on December 1st, 2021, which was attended by her personal companion, her mother. The event was a touching appreciation to Yasmin and her family during a difficult time. We are proud to have Yasmin as a member of our university community and extend our deepest condolences to her and her family.
