It was conducted over two days in the presence of eminent lecturers in dental implants from the AIM Academy in Turkey. Deans and professors from other dental colleges in Egypt took part in the audience as well.
The events occurred on Friday, September 15th, 2023, at the Sofitel Gezira Hotel and on Saturday, September 16th, 2023, at the College of Oral and Dental Surgery of the Misr University of Science and Technology. This included practical application with a live demonstration of a dental implant case and immediate installation using on-hand digital dentistry techniques.
At the beginning, Dr. Bassem Nabil Al-Fahal gave a lecture entitled:
“Guided Implant Surgery”
Then, Prof. Ugur Tekin spoke about “ Immediate implant placement”
Followed by Dr. Maryan Stoyanovesky who gave a lecture about:
“Immediate and Early Loading”
This was concluded by a lecture given by Dr. Mostafa Shoukry entitled:
“Establishing a precise Implant Therapy –
Clinical Case scenario”
The next day, in the most modern and largest research and scientific center for digital dentistry in the country
“MUST Digital Center”
A live presentation of the case was conducted under the supervision of:

– Dr Bassem El-Fahl: Live Surgically Guided Implant Placement.
– Dr Tarek Hammad: Scanning workflow for implant cases
– Dr Akram Afify: Screw Retained Implant Restoration – on Exocad software – Dr Moustafa Shokry: CAD/CAM Dentistry Basic Knowledge – 3D printing demonstration
