Misr University for Science and Technology participated in the 29th Arab Forum for Exchange of Training Opportunities among Arab Universities, hosted by the esteemed  Erbil Polytechnic University (EPU) in the Kurdistan Region of the Republic of Iraq from April 27 to 30, 2024

The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Mukhtar Al-Zawahiri, Vice President of the University for Follow-up and Documentation, Dr. Hala El-Manoufi, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry and Oral Surgery, and the Coordinator of the Student Exchange Center at the University. Also present was Dr. Khadija Atiya, representing Egypt in the Arab Council for Student Training and Creativity, affiliated with the Arab Universities Union

During the event, the first-place award for student training across Arab universities during the summer of 2023 was presented to Misr University for Science and Technology. The award was jointly presented by Dr. Idris Mohammed Tahir, President of Erbil Polytechnic University, and Dr. Fawaz Al-Zughoul, Director of the Arab Center for Student Training and Creativity. The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education in the Kurdistan Region and the Governor of Erbil, along with several university presidents from Kurdistan and Iraq.

This forum is a key and foundational activity organized annually by the Arab Council, facilitating the exchange of training opportunities between Arab universities and institutions. It aims to enhance collaborative frameworks among universities. Representatives from Arab, Russian, and Malaysian universities and institutes participated in the forum, totaling 65 institutions representing 13 countries(including Jordan, Iraq, Palestine, Egypt, Oman, UAE, Libya, Malaysia, Russia, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, and Morocco
