On Thursday, July 4, 2024, the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing organized the activities of the “You Can” initiative under the slogan “Your Future is in Your Hands” for the second consecutive year. The event included a visit by 10 middle school children from the “Banati Charity for Orphan Care” to introduce them to the college. The visit featured various programs and segments, including a tour of the college, a visit to the SEF-MUST student experimental factory, and an introduction to small projects. One example of these projects was “Handicrafts” presented by Dr. Hoda Shamloula, followed by the “Liquid Soap Making” project presented by Dr. Ahmed Bakr. The children participated in several activities within the factory and the Dean’s office, such as drawing, coloring, and recreational games. The children were divided into two teams, and a competition was held between them. They were also introduced to SIPOC to learn how to market their products.
