The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing at Misr University for Science and Technology participated on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, in the launch of the “October Without Illiteracy” initiative at the Conference Hall of the 6th of October City Authority. The initiative was launched by the 6th of October City Authority in collaboration with the Board of Trustees of the 6th of October City, with the participation of the College of Special Education at Misr University for Science and Technology, the College of Education at 6th of October University, and more than 100 illiterate individuals. Several literacy classes were opened in the 6th of October City, and a number of students from the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing volunteered to teach as part of the campaign. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Rehab Abdel-Moneim, Dean of the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing, Prof. Dr. Nehad El-Didamony, Assistant Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Assistant Lecturer Mina Joseph, Assistant Dean of the College, and members of the supporting staff and administrative body of the college.
