The College of Medicine was honored to participate in the Seventh International Conference of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAE), which was held at the Triumph Hotel in New Cairo from November 2-4, 2024.
The conference was titled “Ensuring Quality Education in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” and focused on promoting a culture of quality in education and encouraging educational institutions to exchange experiences and best practices.
The college was represented by Prof. Dr. Nehad El-Mahboub, President of the University, Dean of the College of Medicine, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Souad Kafafi University Hospital; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nancy Zaghloul, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amira El-Ansary, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit at the college. Additionally, students Mohamed Eissa and Abdelrahman Saber participated. They took part in various workshops that addressed the evaluation and continuous improvement of courses and academic programs. The participation was part of the college’s and university’s ongoing efforts to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 and to enhance quality standards in education. It also aimed to introduce the latest mechanisms for applying academic quality standards at the college and university
