The Continuing Education Center at the College of Oral and Dental Surgery had the honor of organizing the scientific event held in the Knowledge Hall under the title:

“The Role of Digital Dentistry in Aesthetic Planning.”

The event was supervised by Prof. Dr. Etemad Rekabi – Professor of Prosthodontics at Misr University for Science and Technology and General Supervisor of Laboratories at the College of Oral and Dental Surgery, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abou El-Fadl – Professor of Prosthodontics at Misr University for Science and Technology, Digital Dentistry, Consultant at the university, and Lecturer in the Digital Dentistry Fellowship.

The scientific day began with a presentation of the new scientific content of the Digital Dentistry Fellowship, held in collaboration with the University of Genoa, Italy, in line with the rapid technological advancements in digital dentistry globally.

The scientific day included theoretical lectures in the field of digital dentistry and the necessary planning for aesthetic dental cases, under the following titles:

  • “CBCT 3D Imaging Application in Digital Dentistry” presented by Dr. Rami Gamil – CEO of Tri Scan Center for Digital Dental Radiology
  • “Digital Versus Conventional Esthetic Planning” presented by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abou El-Fadl – Professor of Prosthodontics at Misr University for Science and Technology
  • “Digital Guided Periodontal Surgeries: Towards Multiscale Integration and Accuracy” presented by Dr. Basma Gamal – Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Oral Medicine, Periodontology, Diagnosis, and Radiology

The scientific day witnessed a high turnout from intern doctors, students, faculty members, and teaching assistants due to the importance of the topics covered in the field of modern dentistry. Due to the high demand, the registration for the next batch of the Digital Dentistry Fellowship has been extended
