Celebration of the International Arabic Language Day

Within the framework of the celebrations for the International Arabic Language Day, Misr University for Science and Technology organized a distinguished event at the university’s Opera House, under the patronage of Mr. Khaled El-Toukhy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, through the Center for Arab Heritage at the university

The celebration witnessed notable attendance from university leaders, including Prof. Dr. Nehad El-Mahboub, University President, Prof. Dr. Emad Khalil, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Hala El-Monoufy, Dean of the College of Oral and Dental Surgery, and Dr. Anas El-Feki, Director of the Heritage Center at the university

The College of Oral and Dental Surgery also participated in organizing this significant event, adding an academic and cultural dimension. The Student Union contributed to preparing activities and events that reflect Arab cultural heritage and enhance the importance of the Arabic language, in collaboration with the Egyptian Dental Association under the supervision of the college, with the attendance of several college students and interns.

The celebration also featured distinguished artistic performances, including the poem “I Am Classical Arabic,” recited by students Mariam Nasser from the College of Oral and Dental Surgery and Habiba Mahmoud Matar from the College of Languages and Translation. The choir of Misr University for Science and Technology delighted the audience with a selection of national and Arabic songs that were well-received, embodying the spirit of pride and appreciation for the Arabic language. Alexandria University also participated with a wonderful theatrical performance, adding an artistic and lively touch to the event.

This celebration was an ideal opportunity to highlight the Arabic language as an essential part of Arab cultural identity and to celebrate it through various educational and artistic activities held at the university
