Under the patronage of Mr. Khaled El-Toukhy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Professor Dr. Nehad El-Mahboub, University President, and in line with the university’s pioneering role in serving Arab heritage, the Arab Heritage Center at Misr University for Science and Technology, in collaboration with the medical faculties and the Faculty of Archaeology, is organizing a symposium entitled:

“Medical Heritage between the Arab-Islamic Civilization and the Ancient Egyptian Civilization”

This event is held in celebration of Arab Manuscript Day, as observed by the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) and the Institute of Arab Manuscripts, under the theme: “The Life of a Nation and the Legacy of a Civilization.”

The symposium will take place on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. in the University Conference Hall, God willing.

The event will feature a distinguished group of scholars specializing in medical heritage, both from within and outside the university.

On this occasion, the university will offer a 50% discount on its medical and pharmaceutical publications, and a special exhibition will be held by the Faculty of Archaeology and Tourist Guidance alongside the symposium.
