Misr University for Science and Technology is set to celebrate World Arabic Language Day with theatrical performances focusing on the Arabic language and contemporary issues facing the Arab world. The event, held in collaboration with the Alexandria University Forum for Poetry and Arts, will take place on December 16 at Misr University Opera House. The celebration is under the patronage of Mr. Khaled El-Toukhy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Professor Dr. Nehad El-Mahboub, University President.
The event, starting at 12:00 PM, will feature artistic performances by the university’s Youth Welfare Choir and Recitation Team. Additionally, a theatrical performance titled “Arabic Nights” by the Alexandria University Forum for Poetry and Arts will be showcased for the first time at Misr University. It is worth noting that the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has designated December 18 as World Arabic Language Day annually
