


The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing at Misr University for Science and Technology took part in the First Egyptian–Sudanese Business Forum, which was held on Saturday, 23 November 2024, at the Triumph Hotel in New Cairo.
The college was represented at the forum by:
• Dr. Rehab Ahmed Abdel Monem, Dean of the College.
• Eng. Mina Joseph, Assistant Dean and Member of the Executive Office.
• Pharmacist Bassant Lashine.
The college’s participation in this forum provided an important opportunity to explore the various prospects available between Egypt and Sudan, particularly in the health, educational, and pharmaceutical sectors.
The forum was organized at the initiative of the Sudanese Embassy in Egypt and the Egyptian–Sudanese Company for Development and Multiple Investments, in cooperation with the Sudanese–Egyptian Integration Center, and under the patronage of Eng. Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Transport.
Forum Objectives:
• Enhance economic cooperation between Egypt and Sudan across various sectors.
• Open new horizons for joint investment and integration in vital industries.
• Exchange expertise to promote sustainable development in both countries.
