The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing at Misr University for Science and Technology is taking part in the free medical caravan. In line with its community role, the college is represented by Pharmacist Marina Hany, Pharmacist Mohamed Abdel Jalil, and Mr. Mostafa Al-Khouly, in collaboration with the College of Medicine, at an event aimed at providing free healthcare and raising health awareness within the community
The college contributed to the medical caravan by supplying medications collected as part of the “Utilize Your Home Pharmacy for Good” initiative, which is implemented through the Students’ Experimental Factory SEF MUST. This campaign gathers unused, consumable medications from households and distributes them to those in need via designated collection boxes placed throughout the university. The initiative reflects the university’s commitment to community engagement, fostering solidarity among different segments of society, optimizing resource use, and reducing waste
Additionally, the college provided hand sanitizer produced at the Students’ Experimental Factory SEF MUST, further enhancing efforts to safeguard public health
