In-depth knowledge of Biochemistry and Immunology; adept in creative teaching strategies that engage students in the learning process. Deeply invested in achieving excellence through societal contributions, supporting graduates and an accomplishment-oriented approach to teaching.

Biography

Dr. Ingy Badawy, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in Biochemistry and the head of the Pharmaceutical Biotechnology department at Misr University for Science and Technology. Her work is situated in the field of biochemistry and immunology, with a special focus on research and development, academic entrepreneurship, and collaborative practical lab work in high technology industries. Through her academic work, Dr. Ingy teaches several courses to both undergraduate and post-graduate students. She has lectured in many courses including  Biochemistry and Molecular Immunology. Participating in more than 20 Research projects, she has the extensive skillset and expertise to prove it.  However, her responsibilities don’t stop there. As part of her role as Vice Dean of Environmental Affairs and Community Services, she also organized several workshops on life sciences entrepreneurship for students, faculty members, academics, and professionals in collaboration with many stakeholders. She also serves as an Associate University President for Alumni Affairs where she has taken the initiative of founding an Alumni Career development program and constantly works towards supporting students, graduates, and alumni.
