Under the patronage of Mr. Khalid Altoukhy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, the university community came together for a seminar on bullying awareness presented by the Psychological Counseling Unit. The event was attended by university officials, including Prof. Ashraf Haider, President of the University, and Prof. Sherif Rifat, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Acting Vice President for Student Affairs.
The seminar which held on December 30th, 2021 focused on the types of bullying faced by university students, its impact from childhood to youth years, and how to face a bully. Attendees were encouraged to share their personal experiences with bullying, which added a personal touch to the discussion and helped to highlight the importance of raising awareness about this critical issue.
MUST is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all students and recognizes the importance of addressing the issue of bullying in order to promote healthy relationships and prevent negative outcomes. The Psychological Counseling Unit plays a vital role in this effort by providing counseling services and educational programs that promote mental health and well-being.
