The events of the Sharjah International Book Fair 2024 will take place from Wednesday, November 6, 2024, to Sunday, November 17, 2024, in Hall 4, Booth H9. The Central Library’s booth will witness a significant turnout of visitors, with notable attendance from Mr. Ahmed Mohammed, Chairman of the Emirates Library and Information Association. Additionally, there will be visits from a delegation from the Sharjah Manuscripts House, a graduate from Misr University for Science and Technology, Mr. Tarek Bin Kalban, IT Consultant, and Ms. Nada Mohammed Saad, a student at the College of Biotechnology at the university and author of the book “Story of Resilience.”
Among the distinguished visitors will be Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, President of the University of Sharjah, Mr. Tharwat Al-Alimi, Senior Cataloger at the University of Sharjah, Mr. Suleiman Khalifa Al-Amri, Head of Technical Services at the University of Sharjah, and Information Engineer Ahmed Numeir at the Historical Complex of the Arabic Language. Also attending will be Mr. Hani Sabri, a member of the Procurement Committee at the House of Wisdom, Dr. Ahmed Zaidan, a faculty member at Khorfakkan University, Captain Adel Al-Hosani, former goalkeeper of the Sharjah team and the UAE national team, and Mr. Zahir Al-Sousi, Head of Arab Exhibitions and Arab Publishers.
At the conclusion of the fair’s events, the youngest reader at the Sharjah International Book Fair, Zain Osama Hosni Sheikh Rashid, son of the reviewer and editor of the Diwan of Afif Al-din Telmesani, and Sheikh Omar Al-Qazabri, Imam of the Hassan II Mosque in Morocco, will visit the library’s booth.
