The first module of the sixth batch of the Implant Dentistry Fellowship was held at the College of Oral and Dental Surgery at Misr University for Science and Technology on Thursday, October 3rd, for three consecutive days, with the presence of:
Prof. Dr. Claudio Modena from the University of Genoa, Italy
Prof. Dr. Rehab El-Sharkawy, Prof. Dr. Yasser El-Mekkawy
Dr. Basem El-Fahl, Dr. Ahmed Badr, Dr. Mohamed El-Gharbawy, and Dr. Amr El-Sawy from Misr University for Science and Technology.
The module covered theoretical parts and their various practical applications through different and diverse workshops. It also included live broadcasts of various implant surgeries performed by Prof. Dr. Claudio Modena in front of the participating doctors. The module also included lectures on the following topics:

• Biology Around Dental Implant.
• Anatomical Considerations In Implant Dentistry.
• Treatment Planning in Implant Cases.
• Flaps And Sutures.
• Flap Designs In Implant Dentistry.
• Drilling Protocols In Implant Dentistry.
Workshops included the following topics:
• Surgical kit and Implant drilling.
• Suturing techniques. Registration is now open for a limited number of candidates due to high demand
