The second module of the sixth batch of the Dental Implant Fellowship was held at the College of Oral and Dental Surgery, Misr University for Science and Technology, on Thursday, November 21, for four consecutive days, with the presence of Prof. Dr. Massimiliano Barcali from the University of Genoa, Italy.

The second module covered theoretical parts and their various practical applications through different workshops conducted by Prof. Dr. Massimiliano Barcali from the University of Genoa, Italy, with the participating doctors in the program.
The module covered the following topics:
- Clinical examination and treatment plan
- Guided implant placement
- Why computer-guided surgery
- Protocol of guided surgery
- CBCT interpretation and planning on on-demand software
- Hands-on surgical guide fabrication (Workshop)
- Radiographic planning (Workshop)
During the module, the 10th anniversary of the cooperation between Misr University for Science and Technology and the University of Genoa, Italy, was celebrated.
The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Hala El-Menoufy – Dean of the College of Oral and Dental Surgery, and Prof. Dr. Stefano Benedicenti – Dean of the Institute of Laser Applications at the University of Genoa, Italy, along with the vice deans of the College of Oral and Dental Surgery and Prof. Dr. Jihad Habaly – Coordinator of the University of Genoa in the Middle East and visiting professor at Misr University for Science and Technology.
