The College of Medicine organized the Student Research Conference for the second consecutive year, the MUST Integrated Student Conference – MISC 2024. The guest of honor at the conference was Prof. Dr. Dina Shoukry, Chair of the Research Ethics Committee at Misr University for Science and Technology, Professor of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology. The conference was attended by a distinguished group of deans from various colleges within the university, faculty members, and their assistants from the College of Medicine.
The judging panel was composed of professors from various scientific disciplines, Including Prof. Dr. Tahseen Shoula, Prof. Dr. Gehan Omar, Prof. Dr. Nageh Mabrouk, and Prof. Dr. Amira Al-Ansari. They monitored and evaluated all the presented scientific research, compiling the final assessments to determine the ranking of outstanding research based on scientific and academic standards. All research underwent the necessary review steps for scientific research and publication, facilitated by the resources provided by the Central Library at Misr University for Science and Technology, ensuring that all research met publication standards. At the conclusion of the conference, the three most distinguished scientific research projects were announced and honored with the conference shield and a financial reward to encourage their continued excellence in scientific and clinical research. The organizing committee of the conference was honored, including a group of college members, marketing officers, university public relations officers, review and automated systems officers at the university’s central library, and college administrators. As part of the college’s plan to enhance student participation in social and community events and support student collaboration, the organizing committee included several college students from different stages. They contributed to the preparatory procedures for the conference by designing and monitoring the promotional aspects of the conference, implementing the research booklet, and the conference agenda
