๐“๐ก๐ž ๐„๐ช๐ฎ๐š๐ฅ ๐Ž๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐†๐ž๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ ๐„๐ช๐ฎ๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐”๐ง๐ข๐ญ at ๐Œ๐ข๐ฌ๐ซ ๐”๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐’๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐“๐ž๐œ๐ก๐ง๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ organized a symposium entitled, “๐‡๐ฎ๐ฆ๐š๐ง ๐‘๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ๐ฌ… ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐‘๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ to ๐‹๐ข๐ฏ๐ž”.

The symposium was managed by:

โ€ข ๐๐ซ๐จ๐Ÿ. ๐€๐ฌ๐ก๐ซ๐š๐Ÿ ๐‡๐š๐ข๐๐ž๐ซ ๐†๐ก๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐›, President of the University

โ€ข Representative Ms. Amal Salama, a member of the Human Rights Committee in the Parliament

โ€ข Prof. Ayman Salama, Professor of Public International Law at Egyptian universities and a member of the Egyptian Association of International Law.

๐๐ซ๐จ๐Ÿ. ๐€๐ฌ๐ก๐ซ๐š๐Ÿ ๐‡๐š๐ข๐๐ž๐ซ ๐†๐ก๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐› assured that the Egyptian Constitution is keen to uphold human rights values, especially the equality between the two genders in all rights and duties, referring to the importance of stabilization such values โ€‹โ€‹in the culture of new generations.

On the other hand, Prof. Haider introduced the Unit for Equal Opportunities and Gender Equality at the university, explaining its goals and role in empowering women, providing suitable job opportunities for working women, and eliminating any attempts to discriminate between genders at work environment.

Representative Amal Salama referred to the necessity of gender equality, pointing out that it is essential to prepare educational seminars in this regard for both male and female students and to spread awareness of rights and duties.

Prof. Ayman Salama spoke about the โ€œUniversities Organizing Lawโ€ in the context of the common discussion with the attendees of the symposium. In addition, he tackled the human right of freedom and living in peace and praised the state issuance of legislations that confront terrorism to ensure a stable life for all. The symposium was finalized by a discussion which took place among the students and the faculty members with the guests, where they answered their inquiries to clarify the state directions to consolidate the values โ€‹โ€‹of equality and social justice.
