Italian Fellowship Graduation Ceremony

Under the appreciated patronage of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST), Mr. Khaled El-Toukhi, and under the full supervision and support of the University President, Prof. Ashraf Haidar, the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery, MUST celebrated on Saturday, September, 10th, 2022 in the University Conference Hall, with the graduation of the eighth batch of “Fellowship in Laser Applications” and the third batch of “Fellowships in Dental Implants and Botox and Filler”, with a total of 100 students in various fellowships.

Thus, the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, MUST, and through an international agreement with the Italian University of Genova, which extended since 2014 until now, managed to graduate nearly 450 doctors who were trained at the highest level to use modern technologies in the field of dentistry, in harmony with the vision of the college, which is “graduation of a doctor who is able to compete locally, regionally and internationally.”

The graduation certificates and shields were handed over by Prof. Hala El-Menoufy, Dean of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery, MUST, Prof. Stefano Bendchenti, Dean of the Laser Applications Center at the Italian University of Genova, and Prof. Jihad Habli, Coordinator of the Italian University of Genova in the Middle East and North Africa.

This ceremony was attended by Prof. Hisham Abdel Hakam, Dean of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery, Cairo University, who praised the success of the various fellowship programs at MUST and emphasized their excellence and effective impact in raising the professional level of our doctors in various specialties and qualifying our graduates to compete in the dental profession.

The ceremony was also attended by Mr. Raffaele Bentangelo, a representative of the Italian Cultural Office, who confirmed the keenness of the Italian Cultural office to renew the cooperation protocol with the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery, MUST, and the continuation of holding scientific days to introduce the various Italian fellowship programs, as well as the Master of Laser Applications presented in cooperation between Misr University for Science and Technology and the Italian University of Genova and granting certificates approved by the Italian Cultural Office to the attendees.

His Excellency praised the prominent role of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery, MUST, and its constant keenness to open new programs and expand the horizon of cooperation every year.
