Misr University for Science and Technology represented by its Deans, Staff and Students participated in the Egyptian Presidential Elections via direct secret ballot. Prof. Nihad El-Mahboub – Acting President of the University, Mr. Serag Zaher – Executive Director of the University, Mr. Khaled Khorshid – Acting Secretary General of the University were present. Misr University for Science and Technology played its role in shaping the societal and political awareness of its students through raising awareness and urging them on the necessity of participating in the presidential elections. The university also provided transportation to facilitate the process of voting for students and staff, under the patronage of Mr. Khaled El-Toukhy – Chairman of the Board of Trustees
Also, Prof. Hala El Menoufy – Dean of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Surgery at Misr University of Science and Technology was keen to encourage all faculty employees, as well as internship doctors and students, to participate in the elections and to exercise their constitutional right by casting their votes in the presidential elections, stressing that participating in the elections is a national duty and entitlement constitutional to protect the development process witnessed by Egypt.
The delegation participating in the elections from Misr University of Science and Technology called on all citizens to participate in the national entitlement and go to the committee headquarters to choose the next president of Egypt, stressing that participating in the elections is like a demonstration of love for the homeland, and a message to the whole world that we are an effective democratic state whose fate is in the hands of its people, and that the Egyptians They participate strongly in decision-making and in choosing a captain for the nation ship in the next stage, amid all these challenges facing the world around us
